Eddy VNRA has an opening for a full time Application Help Desk Specialist.  This position is half of a team that supports our Clinical medical record for Home Care, Hospice, and our smaller programs throughout the Community Services Division.  This position also supports our aide documentation system that is interfaced back to our clinical medical record.  Support includes both in person and phone support for clinician/aide staff questions, issues, concerns with both software and hardware.  Handles a variety of reporting for the Division and spends a significant amount of time assisting with the accuracy of the clinical documentation system by monitoring and reviewing data in worklists, alerts, reports, and emails.  This position also manages our physician table which includes verifying each ordering physician meets regulatory criteria before entry into the system.

This position requires someone who has excellent customer service skills, is able to multi-task and prioritize, and has strong written and oral communication skills.  Familiarity with electronic medical record applications and HP laptops/android phones a plus.  On occasion, oncall support backup will be needed (paid)

Requirements:  Education – associates degree in a business related course of study and one to two years of experience working in health care.
