Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association has a unique opportunity for a full time Senior Secretary to work as part of our Intake Team in our Troy Office (433 River Street), working 9:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities:
- Receiving and screening referrals,
- Creating patient records in our electronic medical record system,
- Uploading medical and referral information into the home health EMR
- Updating the agency’s admission calendar,
- Contacting physician offices for agreement to sign home care orders
- Ensuring referral information is complete for the admitting clinician
- Coordinating with our LPN Intake Nurses for clinical review of referrals and with the insurance verification and authorization teams, as well as with our Medicare Face to Face documentation team, and following up if missing or incomplete, etc.

- Strong interpersonal skills,
- Excellent computer skills, organization, team player, and strong time management.
- High School Diploma required, associates degree preferred.
- 3-5 years secretarial experience required.
